Canna lilies are striking tender perennials, prized for their bold foliage and vibrant summer colour. Flowering from June to October, they’re perfect for tropical borders, bedding displays or large containers. Grow in rich, moisture-retentive soil in full sun or light shade. Water well in dry periods and deadhead to encourage more blooms. In colder areas, lift or protect plants over winter, as they are not fully frost hardy.
