Often called the rubber plant, this evergreen has been a popular houseplant since Victorian times. It features broadly elliptic, dark, glossy green leaves up to 40 cm in length. Ideal for growing indoors or under glass in peat-free, loam-based compost. Prefers filtered or indirect bright light but can tolerate some morning sunshine. Water approximately once a week during summer.Reduce watering to about every two weeks in winter. Always allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again.
