Ideal for listed buildings, rental properties, and homes where permanent modifications are not an option, magnetic secondary glazing provides excellent insulation while remaining fully removable for seasonal use.   Fitting Instructions Ensure both the window frame and acrylic panel are clean and dry before application. Apply the Steel Tape to the window frame, pressing firmly to create a strong bond, and allow the adhesive to set for at least 1 hour (24 hours for maximum adhesion). Next, apply the Magnetic Tape to the acrylic panel, ensuring it aligns correctly with the steel tape on the frame. Once both tapes are in place, carefully align the acrylic panel with the window and press it firmly against the frame. The magnetic force will securely hold the panel in place while allowing for easy removal when needed. For optimal performance, make sure all edges are sealed properly to prevent air gaps and improve insulation. For best results, allow 24 hours before removing and reattaching the panel. Panels over 1500mm x 1500mm may require additional support. To improve insulation further, consider sealing the edges with clear draught-excluder strips.
